Privacy Notice

1. Who handles your data

Marc Oliveau controls the account data described here. Privacy questions can be sent to marc.oliveau@gmail.com.

2. Data we process

  • Account email, profile, authentication, and recovery data.
  • Sources you submit, generated learning artifacts, and saved progress.
  • Olive grants, reservations, charges, refunds, and expiry records.
  • Security and abuse-prevention signals, including CAPTCHA results and hashed network signals.
  • When you submit signup from an allowlisted organic campaign link, optional fixed low-cardinality campaign source, medium, content code, and known public landing path attached only to that signup intent.
  • Optional, versioned marketing consent and withdrawal events.

3. Why we use it

We use account and source data to provide private learning workflows, secure the service, measure and settle generation, recover failures, support the account, and meet legal obligations. Optional product email is a separate purpose and is off unless you choose it. Organic signup attribution is used only for aggregate campaign learning; it does not affect account access, plans, pricing, grants, or generation.

4. Service providers and transfers

OlivoLearn uses contracted infrastructure, authentication, storage, generation, security, and email providers as needed to provide the service. Provider access is limited by role and purpose. Applicable transfer safeguards are documented by the operator before public rollout.

5. Retention and your choices

Account and source artifacts are kept while needed for the service and then removed or de-identified under the applicable retention schedule. You can withdraw marketing consent immediately and request an export, closure, or erasure review from the account dashboard. Security, transaction, and append-only Olive ledger records may be retained when deletion would break legal or accounting integrity. Organic attribution for a signup that does not activate is removed after 30 days; activated signup attribution is removed after 180 days. Every campaign-reporting total or channel cell below five is suppressed, and channels with fewer than five signup intents are not shown. Visible counts are rounded down to the nearest five, and complementary attributed/unattributed totals are hidden together when either is below five.

7. Organic campaign measurement

Campaign parameters remain in allowlisted OlivoLearn links until you submit signup. OlivoLearn does not use campaign cookies, browser storage, pageview tracking, referrer URLs, fingerprints, IP or network values, user-agent records, individualized creator labels, or arbitrary content identifiers for this measurement. Visits, draft starts, reader opens, and true reader retention are therefore unavailable rather than inferred.

6. Account email versus product email

Verification, recovery, security, and service messages are required to operate an account. Product news and study ideas are optional, unchecked by default, and can be withdrawn from the dashboard or an unsubscribe link.
